Brod Wilfredo Posadas BE'44, 86 years old,

attends the monthly kapihan

and finds his way back to the Purple Tower

(as MEB Dads aptly describes it)

Brod Wilfredo Posadas belongs to the wartime batch of '43. His batch includes brods like David Consunji, DMCI's Jess Ferrer, Jr., contractor William Golangco and CELEASCO's Albert Siy.

Brod Willy is just glad to shake hands with Joe Caparas '56 and the other 12 brods who found time for the kapihan.

 

Brod Willy brought with him some hardcopies of his invention notes and ideas. Joe reads one of them.

To whom it may concern:

Way back in 1944 when the Philippines was still under the Japanese and U.P. was at Herran St. I joined this fraternity. Unfortunately, I have not kept in touch with my brothers in this fraternity since then.

Now that I'm old, I would like to make amends for this and I am thinking of donating some of the things I had written relative to inventions and innovations since my graduation as B.S.C.E. And I was wondering whether the fraternity will be interested in accepting these and making these available to anybody who may be interested in going over them.

 

 

 

 

 

I would like to know whom to approach to show him these things I have written so he can appraise whether these are worthwhile or not for your acceptance.

Kapihan Ambassador at Large Brod Egbert ' 62 left early  to attend the Kapihan at the UP Campus.


 

As you all know Brod Egbert, while in the US, has been  attending the Kapihan in the East Coast, held in different States and Cities
and is now duplicating the feat by attending the Kapihan in Green Hills San Juan and then at the Kapihan at U.P. Diliman Q.C.
THUS the monicker Kapihan Ambassado at Large is hereby conferred on Brod Egbert.


Lets hope Egbert will attend the Feb 9,2008 (second Saturday) e Kapihan at the  "Brookly Pizza" Alabang Town Center Outlet. as well as the Greenhills Kapihan at Mc Do Greenhills on Feb.2,2008(  first saturday).


We would to thank Brod Lito Manahan for picking up Brod Will Posadas '44,bringing him to McDo and that makes Brod Will  the honor  of being the oldest Betan during the 255th Kapihan.
 

I think the resident brods missed a very important oppurtunity to meet Brod Will, who is now 86 years old and has maintained his interest in the Fraternity
