Brods,

Attached are pictures of our frat reunion at Bix Saet's house in Houston. Everyone had a great time. Brod Benjie Lopez entertained us with his singing and dancing (check out the picture). He sang the Paul McCartney classic "Yesterday"which he said was their batch song.

Not to be outdone, Mario Manio belted out a few tunes of his own. However, we all agreed that his daughter was the real singer in the family...sorry brod.

Of course, Bix Saet sang like a pro. Bix, you can leave your day job!

Brods we should do this more often.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Brods,
As we now know, there were simultaneous celebrations in America(Houston, San Francisco & Cerritos, CA) & Australia. From the photos, the number of brod attendees were 21 San Fran, 19 Cerritos, 5 Houston and 10 Sydney. Belated

Happy 79th Anniversary to All.

Besides the 19 Brods at Pol Yson's home, around 9 Betanettes and 2 Betanaks joined our celebration. We got plenty of food - baked salmon, lechon kawali, chicken bbq, sisig, lumpia sariwa, menudo, shrimp with veg, sweet n sour lapulapu, desserts and so much more.

As Benjie mentioned, Houston nd Cerritos had a conference call and we also contacted SanFran from our side. They were at JoeAlbano's place at the time. We are looking forward to see some of the brods from other regions st the Feb 2009 reunion. So please, let's discuss the details. I heard some people in the previous list of attendees may not be able to make it so we may have to do a re-commitment list and update our numbers.

Talking about re-commitment, we had some sort of a re-com ritual at the party. Knowing Pol as batch '63, some brods were worried what he will come out with when he entered the house to get something. What a relief he was not holding a paddle but a JW Black and a Russian Brandy(cognac daw). That's the reason for those photos with the shot glass. We had a "tagay-tagay" session with ArnelP as the tagay-meister and Pol as the Enforcer. 19 b rods, 19 shots per round. 'Yong ibang tagay sinagot nina SammyF at of course Angie Alvarez. With brods worried of DUI, naubos namin 'yong JWB pero di pa nangalahati ang Russian brandy. That russian drink is really something, it 's strong enough to stir up another bolshevik revolution.

FrankA said we'll have surprise guests and we were really surprised to see AngelS and Linda. They both look fine and Angel seems young as ever. Angel said he's 200 % in performance, good as new ...and "all pistons firing", whatever that means,;-).

We all had a great time, thanks to our hosts, Pol & Lorna Yson. Sa mga uuwi ng Feb2009, magkita kita na lang tayo muli sa reunion.
